Over the past five years, more than 1,500 women ages 12 to 70+ have joined their local clubs through WSSA Women’s Trap Leagues. Even more impactful—approximately 33% of these participants had never shot a shotgun before, making our leagues their very first introduction to the shooting sports.
The 2026 league season kicks off April 1st, with participation expected across 20+ clubs nationwide. Due to the overwhelming success and demand, we are continuing to expand—and are excited to introduce our new Nomad Program, designed to bring even more women into the sport, regardless of location.

When women participate in shooting sports at clubs, they bring the kids, and it becomes a family event. Last year we had countless individuals donate to our women’s league. Some had daughters, wives and sisters who were participating in the program, but most of them simply loved the fact that the gals were trying out and participating in a sport they…love! We couldn’t have done it without them!
