A Note About Sponsoring the Gals
Thank you for considering the opportunity to support, encourage, and inspire women to join the Trap Shooting Sports arena.
In 2023, we had more than 236 gals from the ages of 12 to 70+ join their clubs by participating in Women’s Trap Leagues. Approximately 33% of these gals had never shot a shotgun before, and their women’s league was their first time participating in a shooting sport of any kind!
2024 Leagues will kick off April 1st and will be hosted by 12 different clubs across the state of Montana. We expect this number to grow again this year.
Where will your sponsorship funds go?
We inspire and motivate these women to participate in shooting sports by offering trophies for class winners including but not limited to Class A, B, C, D, New Shooter, Young Lady, Senior Lady, and a Mother/Daughter Class. Additionally, we host other challenges for women to participate in such as the 1&5 Challenge where all women who break 5 birds on station 1 and station 5 qualify for cash prizes that are paid out in a fashion similar to the ATA Lewis Class Challenge. We host a season-end shoot for all MTSWTL registered shooters to celebrate their achievements, build camaraderie among women shooters, and participate in several different shooting games. Shooters then end the day by participating in a club shoot-off, playing the game Flurry!
In 2022 and 2023, we were able to secure enough funds to cover ammo, clays, prizes, and food for all participants who attended the season-end shoot-off. This year we expect participation to double and are seeking support again.

Not only do businesses get a fantastic opportunity to put their marketing dollars to work, they also get to support the shooting sport industry by helping attract a newer and growing demographic that will help sustain shooting clubs and the shooting industry as a whole. When women participate in shooting sports at clubs, they bring the kids, and it becomes a family event. When women participate in a women’s only league not only does their confidence grow, but their skills improve. They have some fun, find a new tribe and stay engaged in the sport. Individual Sponsorship Opportunities
Last year we had countless individuals sponsor the women’s league. Some had daughters, wives and sisters who were participating in the program, but most of them simply loved the fact that the gals were trying out and participating in a sport they…love! We couldn’t have done it without them!
