Our amazing team is composed of women who encourage, support, and celebrate the personal accomplishments of women trap shooters. Each woman on our team represents the trap shooting club in their community and manages their local Women's Trap League.

Our Mission
Our mission is to create a community of women who support, encourage, and inspire each other while taking part in shooting sports. We accomplish this mission by collaborating with trap clubs across the State of Montana to support and implement Women's Shooting Leagues.

YEAR-END SHOOT-OFF PARTY
Annually all MTSWTL Members
are invited to attend the season end Women’s Shoot-off!
Women come from across the state of Montana to participate in the Women’s Shoot-off! The shoot-off day consists of an awards ceremony, drawings for 1000’s of dollars in prizes and shotgun games.
It is a great time to meet women across the state just like you!

ATA Shoots are not only fun for you but the whole family. We see plenty of families at ATA shoots, but more and more you see mom and daughter/daughter-in-law or mom and son teams out shooting the weekend away together!
Get the camper loaded up and come join us at some ATA shoots!
Several clubs even have the Outlaw Purse available for ladies only…so they can compete against other gals and win some cash!

Meet Other Like-Minded Women
Meet all kinds of other women who love to shoot!
Sometimes but not always women were first introduced to shotguns by hunting with their fathers, husbands or other men in their lives but not always!
Most often a woman has invited another to come join her at the trap club. She is apprehensive at first but then discovers how fun it is to crush a target…
You’ll meet other brand new shooters, some with a bit more experience but all just like you! It is a great tribe of gals either way!
If your club doesn’t have a league…then rally those girlfriends and start one. We will provide you with the information to get started. We have some clubs with 3-5 shooters and others with up to 90!
Empowerment
Many women feel empowered when participating in shooting sports. They gain confidence in handling a shotgun with ease and precision.
They learn about ammo and choke tubes and how to use them to their advantage
They understand the components of their shotguns and how to maintain them
They feel strong and confident in a male dominant sport.
Confidence is gained to shoot competitively at ATA Shoots with mixed squads.
Many of our shooters are inspired to grow their skills as they watch other women compete and win classes at ATA shoots.
